Seafood Marinara

Ingredients

BASIC MARINARA * See Directions Below
1/2 lb Raw Shelled & Deveined Shrimp
1/2 lb Mussels, Fresh or Frozen
1/2 lb Cod or Sea Bass (thick white fish) cut into 1” cubes
1 Carrot (large grated)
Garnish Fresh Basil
To Taste Parmesan Cheese

Directions

  • (Basic Marinara)
    1-28 oz can crushed tomatoes
    2-1/2 cups water
    1 Easy Peasy Seasoning Packet
    Prepare per Easy Peasy box instructions.

 

Rinse seafood with water and lightly pat dry with paper towels.  Add all seafood and carrot to simmering marinara for 8-10 minutes.  Serve over pasta* or mashed potatoes. Garnish with basil florets or strips and sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.

*1 lb Pasta Preparations:
Bring to a boil 4 quarts of water, add 1 tsp. canola or vegetable oil and 1 TBS salt
Prepare dry pasta of choice to al dente stage, approximately 6-8 minutes.
(refer to package instructions for the amount of time is required for this stage)
Drain well and place in a warm serving bowl.
